Our Quest for Truth

Discover a digital haven where all ideas; orthodox, controversial, and existential, are explored without fear of censorship.

Axiom is the arena for free minds to engage in earnest and spirited debate, etched on a distributed ledger for future generations to learn from.

Coupled with economic incentives and blockchain technology, Axiom enables each member to contribute to mankind’s quest for truth, while maintaining his right to privacy.

Campus of the Commons

Imagine Axiom as an open, distributed university where you are both student and teacher, and where all fields of study are open to you.

Here, any hypothesis can be written, and any argument to prove it true – or argument to prove it false — can be spoken without being silenced by a professor.

Axiom is the campus of the common people. There are no ivory towers here. Just some tall oak trees to gather beneath and earnestly exchange ideas with your peers.

Axiom’s lifetime tuition is 20 bucks. Harvard University’s endowment fund is 56.9 billion dollars but Aristotle taught Socrates under a tree.

Axiom doesn’t sell you a diploma for $250,000. Nor do we provide safe spaces. But unlike a Prussian education, on Axiom, you will learn how to think independently.

When you post a hypothesis you must defend it with evidence. Sometimes you might be proven wrong. Admit it. Learn from your peers.

This is the way.

Sic itur ad Astra

I believe that humans walked on the moon in 1969. (you can debate this on axiom.info) Since then however, outside of improvements in computation, human progress has actually underperformed expectations. It’s been 50 years of meh…

It’s true we each have an incredibly powerful computer in our pocket. And we can ask an ‘AI’ any question and get multitudinous information (and some misinformation) in a split second. But the smart phone is also the linchpin of the digital surveillance panopticon. One might draw the conclusion that THIS is why it exists. The transition from horses to steam engines to automobiles happened quite rapidly. The Chrisler building was built in Manhattan in 1930 and the Empire State Building in 1931! The first successful human-to-human heart transplant was in 1967! In the 1960s one can understand how a boy reading science fiction would expect to have a good chance of living in a multi-planetary human civilization by the time he was an old man. But it didn’t happen. Where are the bases on the Moon or the colonies on Mars? Where are the mechanical hearts to extend our lives? Where is the Star Trek replicator?! Has human progress been deliberately sabotaged? Or did it slow naturally because our bountiful society has made us lazy? Is beer and football and bouncy boobs enough to satiate the average homo sapien in 2026? Some of us want more. Obviously you are one of us. We are whom Ayn Rand called ‘the men of the mind’. Our mission on Axiom is to maintain the essential knowledgebase of mankind and ensure it survives for future generations. We also do our best to build upon the foundational axioms, by testing hypotheses in order to unlock new axioms that ultimately push mankind higher. This is the way to the stars.

2 + 2 = 4

“Freedom is the freedom to say that two plus two make four. If that is granted, all else follows.” ― George Orwell, 1984 Freedom of Speech is under attack from many authoritarian leaning regimes around the world. Axiom was purpose built to withstand these attacks. Some users of legacy social media networks like Facebook, TikTok and even X.com who post simple truths which their government does not want seen, have heard the ‘thought police’ knocking on their doors. In Great Britain, approximately 10,000 citizens are arrested each year. Other countries with extremely high arrest rates for ‘wrong think’ are Belarus, Germany, China and Turkey. Thus far the United States, Canada and Australia are underperforming in this category of oppression but I fully expect them to get more serious about it soon. “Remember, your government—wherever you are—considers you as a milk cow. And history has shown that if they need to, they’ll use you as a beef cow as well.” – Douglas Casey Axiom, the free thought network does not track our users. There are many ways to sign up for Axiom without giving your name. We actually don’t want to know your name! Axiom is built 100% on the Internet Computer Protocol, which is a distributed cloud with many independent nodes that simultaneously serve the data. Axiom does not track your IP address. However the server nodes on the ICP blockchain do see your IP address, so if you want to get closer to anonymous posting you should use a VPN while using Axiom as well as any other website on the internet!

Mine Crypto with Your Mind

Bitcoin and Monero have the ‘proof of work’ mining algorithm. Acorn tokens are earned through Axiom’s ‘proof of thought’ mining algorithm. The Acorn Drop happens everyday when Big Ben strikes midnight in London and 12,000 Acorn tokens are distributed to the Axiom users whose hypotheses and evidence were most valued by the community. You even earn Acorns by voting True, False, or I Don’t Know on hypotheses. Acorns are the native cryptocurrency on Axiom. Members need a few Acorns to start because they are needed for actions like posting hypotheses and evidence. A Seeker account starts with 200 Acorns so if you sign up you’re good to go.

Freedom Engineering Technology

Legacy social networks like Facebook and TikTok are ‘free’ to use because YOU are the product. Your data is sold to advertisers, your eyes are tracked, and you’re manipulated with hidden algorithms. You’re censored and/or banned for unpopular opinions, and state intelligence agencies are snooping in your inbox. When you post creative content that entertains others, you create value for the owners of the company, but you see none of the profits. Wikipedia, is perhaps the most censored network on the internet. Axiom is going head to head with Wikipedia this year (2026) when we expand with our own encyclopedia where the so called ‘elites’ will have zero control. When we release our peer to peer encrypted direct messaging (soon) the spooks won’t be able to slide into your DMs. On Axiom, the more your content is voted on by your peers, the more Acorns you earn. Stake some Acorns and you are an owner of the enterprise. When you help market Axiom through word of mouth you make the network bigger which creates value for yourself, not some psychopathic corporation. Yes, it costs $20 to join Axiom. But freedom isn’t free… Freedom costs $20 bucks.
